Role Summary

A Shop Manager directs the selling, service, and operations of the Anthropologie Weddings shop to achieve an engaging and inspiring environment. This can include development of others, collaborating with key partners, and supporting store operations and visual needs.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Leads and empowers the team to drive sales through personalized service and elevated styling and outfitting recommendations; utilizes service indicators to reinforce a selling culture, initiatives, and to achieve strong conversion
  • Acts as a brand representative reflective of the company values; collaborates with the Visual Merchandising Manager on the creation of an engaging visual experience that appeals to the Anthropologie Weddings customer
  • Leads and supports the team to elevate every aspect of the store experience through omni channel capabilities and community-driven events

Leadership + Team Management

  • Actively participates in managing the store environment and customer experience by facilitating an energized pace, positivity of the team, management of the daily zone, and driving sales
  • Provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability; facilitates a thorough and thoughtful onboarding for new hires, and guides the team to prioritize the customer experience
  • Supports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent to build bench for the shop; while taking responsibility for own development and professional growth

Visual +Business Operations

  • Sustains daily operating standards by taking an active role in assessing sales forecasting, managing payroll to facilitate an effective daily zone chart, and the execution of product flow
  • Assesses department business using company reporting tools to identify business opportunities for the shop; partners with the Store Manager and Anthropologie Weddings Leadership to identify plans to constantly grow shop business and better the customer experience
  • Collaborates with the Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure an outstanding execution of all visual strategies in the shop; applies Home Office visual direction to meet individual product mix and individual store characteristics
  • Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Communication + Relationships

  • Leads with an inclusive and people-first philosophy; engages shop employees at all levels to encourage open dialogue, reinforce follow through, and ensure that the store team is heard and supported
  • Stays current and responds to interoffice communication while ensuring important Company information reaches all levels of the team; facilitates the sharing of product knowledge, current trends, department priorities, and brand messaging through daily touchpoints with the team
  • Champions development by protecting time with direct reports; proactive in setting goals and delivering feedback for team personal growth
  • Provides global and department insight related to the customer experience and communicate feedback to Visual Merchandising Manager and Store Manager

Role Qualifications

  • Anthro and Anthro Weddings brand fan
  • 2+ years store leadership experience
  • Proven record of hiring and developing great talent
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization

Pay Range

Starting from USD $67,724.80/Yr.
