A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through maintaining organized product flow, helping to ring customer transactions as a cashier, and providing a genuine experience to each customer in all areas of the salesfloor. 

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience  

  • Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions 
  • Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping to maintain a well-kept, clean store  
  • Processes sales for the customer accurately and efficiently as a cashier  

Teamwork + Communication  

  • Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others 
  • Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team 
  •  Exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things 
  • Ensures timeliness and accountability to scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed, positive environment

Visual + Business Operations  

  • Maintains visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer 
  • Supports processing shipment, tagging, staging, and placing new product   
  • Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store 

Role Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service 
  • Experience being a team player 
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights and weekends and holidays. 
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture

Pay Range

Starting from USD $15.00/Hr.
