Role Summary

An Operations Manager leads the back of house operations and maintains the flow of product from receipt to placement. Responsibilities also include supporting the customer experience to achieve an engaging and inspiring store environment.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Leads by example in providing extraordinary service where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued
  • Actively participates as the Customer Experience Manager by driving engagement in each zone through elevated communication; guides the team to prioritize the customer experience and achieve store objectives
  • Delivers a seamless, multi-channel shopping experience through expertise in omni systems and applications to efficiently get the product to the floor and elevate customer engagements

Leadership + Team Management 

  • Leads the stock-to-sales processes which includes receiving of shipment to meet productivity standard and brand expectations
  • Oversees organizational standards in back of house and exercises creative decision-making to impact organization and efficiency; facilitates the sharing of relevant information regarding shipment, restock, and back of house organization with the team
  • Demonstrates loss prevention awareness through assisting in cycle counts, markdowns, and transfers; actively supports the heavy workload prepping and executing yearly inventory

Visual + Business Operations

  • Supports daily operating processes such as opening and closing procedures, maintaining store standards, restocking product, and helping with facilities and IT issues
  • Assists in maintaining a visually compelling store that is well-loved by adhering to daily tasks; may oversee additional operational responsibilities with transfers, markdowns, and omni processes
  • Collaborates with key partners to effectively lead the shipment process including UPS/USPS deliveries and send sales; maintains a record for all receiving paperwork for store’s inventory integrity
  • Leads product flow processes which include shipment receipt, processing, security tagging, and preparing product for floor placement; understands how the merchant process impacts business and prioritizes product flow accordingly

Communication + Relationships  

  • Contributes to an inclusive environment by helping to amplify all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectives
  • Communicates daily with the leadership team on supply needs, flow of shipment, support needs, shipping damages, and box count discrepancies
  • Provides insight related to the shipment trends and new receipts to Store Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager
  • Contributes to positive team morale through brand and store initiatives such as the SPARKED Journal, employee recognition, and team building activities

Role Qualifications

  • Anthro brand fan
  • 2+ years of retail leadership experience
  • Great communicator able to set clear objectives and follow through
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
